Ted’s Bulletin Coming to Carlyle in Alexandria

Alexandria, VA – Carlyle is getting a new gathering place that features an all-day destination for residents, workers, and visitors. Ted’s Bulletin, 2471 Mandeville Lane, is a modern take on American comfort food for the Alexandria Carlyle neighborhood. Ted’s will be paired with Honeymoon Chicken as mentioned in The Zebra in July 2026.
The local leadership team says the project is about more than opening another restaurant. Owner Nick Salis, General Manager Cecil Coleman, and Executive Chef Alan Adenan are all Alexandria residents with personal ties to the community. “As Alexandria residents, we have dreamed of bringing Ted’s Bulletin to our neighborhood for a long time. The Carlyle area blends residential life with thriving business and community energy making it the perfect place for us to anchor down and serve our neighbors.”
The restaurant’s menu centers on elevated comfort food, including scratch-made breakfast served throughout the day, burgers, dinner entrées, and seasonal dishes prepared under Chef Adenan’s direction. Ted’s signature homemade tarts will also take center stage. Made from scratch daily, the treats are joined by hand-spun shakes and craft cocktails, giving diners plenty of reasons to stop by throughout the day.
Coleman will lead the front-of-house team with an emphasis on warm, attentive hospitality, while the restaurant also plans to create employment opportunities for people from Alexandria and surrounding communities.
According to the team, “This isn’t just another location for us, it’s personal. We’re bringing top-tier hospitality and great comfort food to the place where we all live and raise our families.”
