Between 11 am and 8 pm, June 5, food trucks will again roll into the parking lot at Southern Towers Apartments at 4901 Seminary Road in Alexandria’s West End neighborhood for the Second Annual “Go West! West End Business Association Food Truck Rodeo” in partnership with the DC Food Truck Association. Visitors can look forward to favorite trucks boasting Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Latin American, seafood, BBQ and sweet treats. And for the little cowgirls and boys, activities and a watermelon seed spitting contest. For the older hands, sips from local Port City Brewing Co. and Fabbioli Cellars as well as visit fashion-focused trucks and non-food vendors.
