Staying Safe While Running Errands During the Pandemic

Alexandria, VA – In its nightly email, the city continues to urge residents to stay at home, unless going out is essential. And when out, they stress the importance of maintaining six feet of distance around others.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated guidance about how to stay safe and healthy when running essential errands. These types of errands include buying groceries and medicine, and completing banking activities.

Topics on the webpage include shopping for groceries and household essentials; accepting delivery and takeout orders; banking; getting gasoline; and going to the doctor or getting medicine. Click HERE to view more information.
