ALEXANDRIA, VA – An Alexandria woman still can’t believe it. “The whole thing isn’t real!” she told Virginia Lottery officials. “It hasn’t sunk in yet.”

Four months ago she purchased a ticket using some of her favorite numbers, 2-14-15-17-21, and matched all five winning numbers on March 1, but she only just discovered that fact when she cleaned out her purse recently.

She bought the ticket at Giant Food at 3131 Duke Street in the Alexandria Commons shopping center.
