ALEXANDRIA, VA – As the chilly winter air fills the air, what better way to celebrate the holiday season than by joining Alexandria Colonial Tours on its Original Alexandria Ghost & Graveyard TourHaunted Holiday Edition?

“On this one-of-a-kind tour, you will explore some of the most haunted spots in Alexandria, Virginia.” says Colonial Tours owner Wellington Watts. “You’ll also discover holiday traditions of the past.”

During the experience, you will follow a colonial-costumed guide by lantern light through the charming streets of Alexandria’s Old Town historic district. On one of the two historical ghost tour routes (the North Route and the South Route), you’ll hear ghost stories, legends, folklore, unsolved mysteries, tales of romance and angry ghosts looking for revenge.

“After you take the first tour, you won’t be able to wait to book tickets for the second route,” says Beth Morrison, a frequent guest on the tours. “I bring all my out of town guests on the Old Town tours, and when we are done with the South one, they all want me to book the North one, and vice versa.”
