ALEXANDRIA, VA – Agenda:Alexandria is postponing its Old Town North March 23rd panel discussion because of the coronavirus.

The citizen-based organization Agenda:Alexandria engages in civil civic dialogue holding monthly non-partisan programs that “takes a look at the issues without taking sides.”

Executive Director Pat Miller says, “For the past few weeks we have been carefully monitoring [the] coronavirus developments in our community.”

The situation became more aggravated this morning when the first “presumptive positive” case of COVID-19 in the City of Alexandria was confirmed. As a result, the group decided postponement was the safest course of action.

The meeting discussing “Old Blight, New Progress: Transformational Change in Old Town,” is being rescheduled.
