Alexandria, VA – A new pastry shop is replacing the late Firehook Bakery at 430 S. Washington St. that closed on Christmas Eve 2024. Eclairons, with its first location in Arlington, is well known for its pastries, food, and coffee from Europe to the Middle East. The menu includes plain croissants and variations with cheese, almond, za’atar, and pistachio. Try the breakfast items such as an omelet or egg sandwich, fresh avocado toast, burritos, and quiche. The lunch sandwiches include a turkey pesto panini, chicken shawarma, and a short rib sandwich.
