Wonder Brings a World of Flavors to Potomac Yard in Alexandria

Wonder Arrives in Potomac Yard, Rewriting the Rules of Mealtime in Alexandria

Alexandria, Va – Wonder has chosen the Potomac Yard corridor for its Alexandria, Va debut, and the doors at 3615 Richmond Highway will swing open at 2 p.m. on January 9. Founded by serial entrepreneur Marc Lore, Wonder is “making great food more accessible while pioneering a new category of ‘Fast Fine’ dining,” the company says. The eatery says “We partner with incredible restaurants across the country. From Phoenix to Atlanta, and D.C. to Los Angeles, we bring you a taste of what the nation has to offer, just around the corner.” Delivery is free.

Wonder also supports the local community by donating $1 from every meal sold during the first week to the Capital Area Food Bank, and customers will be able to round up their change for additional contributions throughout the year.

The Potomac Yard location is Wonder’s 10th outpost in the Washington-Baltimore area and the first to introduce Multi-Restaurant Ordering to Alexandria. without placing separate orders or juggling multiple delivery fees when using their delivery system. The Potomac Yard location offers menu items from more than 20 celebrated chef concepts featuring famous and well known chefs such as Bobby Flay Steak, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson-the must try signature sandwich and mac & cheese with greens, Michael Simon with two restaurant offerings, Di Fara Pizza-the famed Brooklyn pizzeria. Other offerings include SriPraPhai, one of the country’s top Thai restaurants for more than 30 years and Tejas Barbecue, considered one of Texas’ best. For those looking for a new source for poke, try Hanu Poke.

The company says it is committed to responsible food sourcing, including using seasonal and organic ingredients when possible and sourcing meat and poultry raised without added antibiotics or hormones.
