Alexandria, VA – Before the ACPS Hall of Fame induction, Ron Bass and a few of his fellow ’71 Titans stopped by the All-American Barber Shop on Queen Street — the spot where Hollywood history quietly began. It was here that screenwriter Gregory Allen Howard first heard the story of T.C. Williams’s undefeated team and decided it belonged on the big screen. Coach Herman Boone always said there should be a plaque — because from that barbershop talk, “Remember the Titans” was born.
