ARLINGTON, VA–On Friday, November 30, Arlington and Crystal City residents and businesses gathered around the “Miracle on 23rd Street” event and cheered with joy when Santa arrived in a fire truck amidst a crowd enjoying treats and refreshments sponsored by Burke & Herbert Bank.
The event was organized and hosted by Melwood, a dynamic nonprofit providing jobs and opportunities for people with differing abilities for over 50 years and counting in the greater Washington, DC area. Originally from Delray Beach, Florida, Mary is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia, and has been part of Alexandria’s publishing and media community since 1987.
