Alexandria, VA – Trinity United Methodist Church at 2911 Cameron Mills Rd in Alexandria held its annual community Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, September 26. Despite a misting rain, about 50 pets were individually blessed by Pastor Grace Han. Each year Christians all over the world honor the Patron Saint of Animals, St. Francis of Assisi, near Oct 4th.
