First-Ever Old Town Cocktail Week May 3-11, 2019

Alexandria, VACraft cocktail lovers won’t want to miss the first-ever Old Town Cocktail Week happening May 3 to 11, 2019 throughout Old Town Alexandria. Old Town Cocktail Week invites you to “Drink Up Old Town” and take part in Alexandria’s growing craft scene as you enjoy specialty cocktails at restaurants and attend more than 20 events at

Old Town Cocktail Week kicks off with Art on the Rocks on May 3, presented by The Art League at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, and culminates with a Meet the Makers Virginia Spirits Tasting Event on May 11 at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum.

More than 20 events at boutiques, historic sites and restaurants include special tastings, cocktail seminars and more.Events include the Kentucky Breakfast Stout Derby Party at Mason Social on May 4; the Old Town Drinks book release party at The Hour on May 7 with tastings of cocktails featured in the book; a Hoptails event at Chadwicks with Port City Brewing Company on May 8; Bubbles, Barrels, and BBQ at George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill on May 10; and a trio of cocktail seminars at Columbia Firehouse on May 11.

Throughout the week, enjoy specialty cocktails at more than 20 restaurants, including Bastille, Brabo, Chadwicks, Columbia Firehouse, Fontaine, Hank’s Oyster Bar, Hank’s Pasta, Hummingbird, Jackson 20, Magnolia’s on King, Mason Social, MoHo Kitchen, Px/Eamonns, Society Fair, The People’s Drug, The Warehouse, The Wharf, TJ Stones, Urbano 116, Vermilion, Village Bauhaus, and Virtue Feed & Grain.
