ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Potomac Riverkeeper Network, in collaboration with Alexandria Community Rowing and The National Park Service, needs your help this Earth Day.

The collaborating organizations are asking the community to please help clean up the “marsh madness” at Jones Point Park. All are welcome to participate. “We hope that our fellow Potomac River users, groups, and lovers will make an effort to join us,” says the event signup page.  “Come out to meet your neighbors and support the health of our Potomac River. Spread the word and sign up to get your free RSVP ticket! (Per the NPS, we’re limited to recruiting 75 volunteers. Sign up before the slots get swept up!)”
