Dust off your bell bottoms and tie-dye and join the Del Ray community for their 3rd Annual Spring Bar Crawl — Peace, Love, & Disco!

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The 70’s themed bar crawl featuring 13 of the area’s top restaurants takes place Saturday, April 6th, from 2 p.m. to -6 .p.m. and benefits Rebuilding Together Alexandria and The Del Ray Flower Fund. Rebuilding Together Alexandria works to repair and rehabilitate homes free of cost for those in need, including the elderly, persons with disabilities, military veterans, and families with children.
“Our spring and holiday bar crawls have quickly become one of our Del Ray’s most popular events,” said Del Ray Business Association President Sue Kovalsky. “We’re thrilled to host events that bring our community together for a great cause that helps neighbors right in our community, while showcasing our top restaurants.”
Tickets includes beer, cocktail, and food specials at each bar; 16 oz cups for the first 250 people; photo booth pictures; trolley transportation; raffles; and more. Prizes will also be awarded for best dressed person, best dressed couple, and best dressed group.
Two trolleys will transport crawlers up and down the Avenue to the participating restaurants — Catch on the Ave, Cheesetique, Del Ray Pizzeria, Evening Star Cafe, KAiZEN Tavern, Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, Live Oak, Nectar Coffee & Wine Bistro, Northside 10, Pork Barrel BBQ, St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub, Charlies, and Stomping Ground.
Advance tickets are available at for $15 at tinyurl.com/discodelray until midnight Saturday; day-of tickets are $20, and available at the two check-in points — Lena’s Wood-Fire Pizza & Tap (401 E. Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22301) or Northside 10 (10 East Glebe Road, Alexandria, VA 22305). The event is metro accessible; Braddock Road Metro is located near Lena’s.
