Alexandria, VA – Three small businesses in the Hollin Hall Shopping Center are teaming up again this year to support the Breast Cancer Collectiven, a local nonprofit focused on improving access to breast health care.

Alex Kilroy of The Cut Butchery, Master Photographer Renée C. Gage, and Paige Bradford of Hooray Art will once again host Grillin’ For The Girls, a two-day fundraiser on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9.

The butchery team will wear the one-of-a-kind aprons decorated by Hooray Art students throughout the weekend to show support for breast cancer awareness. As they did last year, The Cut will donate 10% of all beef sales, targeting an increase of 10% to $5,500 this year. Shoppers will receive their purchases in pink paper bags. Renée Gage will also be on-site photographing the event and participants.

The collaboration, which began as a shared effort among neighboring businesses, continues to grow each year. The goal remains the same: to help fund critical breast health services, including mammograms and biopsies, for those in need.

Stop by The Cut Butchery at Hollin Hall Shopping Center on May 8-9 to support Grillin’ For The Girls and help make a difference.
