National Weather Service: Tornado Watch in Effect Until 3 A.M. in Alexandria

Two rounds of showers, damaging wind gusts and scattered thunderstorms are expected overnight Sunday.

Alexandria, Va – Batten down the hatches! A tornado warning is in effect for Alexandria and throughout the DMV until 3 a.m.

The National Weather Service issued the warning at 6:19 p.m. Two rounds of showers, damaging wind gusts and scattered thunderstorms are expected overnight Sunday.
