Alexandria, VA – Considering a career in law enforcement? This week long class will help you gain a better understanding of your Alexandria Police Department (APD). The members of the APD will share their knowledge and experience with you through presentations, demonstrations, displays and hands-on activities.
WHERE: Police Department Headquarters in the Community Room at 3600 Wheeler Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304

- Monday, August 5 – Introduction, Patrol, DUI Enforcement, Motor Unit
- Tuesday, August 6 – Vice Narcotics, Hostage Negotiation, Criminal Investigation
- Wednesday, August 7 – Crime Scene Investigation, K9, Special Operations
- Thursday, August 8 – Adult Detention Center Tour, Commonwealth Attorney/Magistrate
- Friday, August 9 – Graduation
