Rotary Club of Alexandria to Support Local Charities at Annual Dinner

Alexandria, VA – Each year The Rotary Club of Alexandria hosts its annual Taste for Giving dinner to support Alexandria charities. This year’s event will be held on Friday, October 25 at the U.S Patent & Trademark Office.

“100 percent of our funds from the Taste for Giving go to local charities and organizations with goals that include literacy, healthcare, housing, childcare and nutrition,” says current President, Sharon Meisel. “The Taste for Giving raises significant funds to support local charities and service organizations in the Alexandria Community.”

The Taste for Giving is a a marquee event for the Rotary Club. It serves as a  great way for the community to support many outstanding non-profits which help the underserved and disadvantaged citizens within Alexandria. Last year’s event raised $70,000.

This festive evening is open to the public. It will feature food from a selection of Alexandria’s best restaurants. Along with beer and wine tasting, live music will compliment silent and live auctions, featuring items donated by local Alexandrians and businesses.
