New Telephone Support Line for Parents in Alexandria and Fairfax

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Are you a parent  who is overwhelmed with all of the changes that have happened in life since spring? Do you sometimes wonder how to entertain your kids while everyone is home? Is school blending with the home environment a difficult adjustment?

There is help for these situations and much more. A new phone line is available to parents in Alexandria and Fairfax. Call 703-324-7720, or text SUPPORT or PARENTING to 30644,

Phone lines are answered from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday through Friday. Assistance is available in English and Spanish. The person will be there simply to listen or provide guidance on more complex issues.
