Looking Forward: AlexRenew Begins New Billing System in June
Customer Care Portal includes paperless billing option
Alexandria, VA – In a move toward the future, Alexandria Renew Enterprises (AlexRenew) has announced that they will use a new electronic billing system June 2. The company treats the water supply for all of Alexandria, and its building is a marvel of design in Old Town.
With the new billing system, AlexRenew states, in information provided to The Zebra, that it will be “easier to pay your wastewater bill and mange your account.”
A major reason for the switch is to reduce waste and help the environment. Signing up for auto-pay by May 27 guarantees enrollment in the Customer Care Portal.
As part of the system, the Portal will have extra features, including various ways to pay a bill. Another plus is zero fees for most transactions. Customers can track their water usage online and have account access 24/7.
