Alexandria, VA – Monte Durham hosted a Wedding Planners Mingle at Hummingbird Restaurant Thursday evening. Invited guests were treated to a magnificent display of the elegant fashion defining today’s wedding scene.
Hair and makeup was done to perfection at Salon Monte under the auspices of resident makeup artist Carl Ray, whose clients include Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep, and Natalie Portman, just to name a few.
The dresses – oh! the dresses! – hailed from Zoya’s Atelier in Falls Church. Sparkly, shimmery and infinitely glamorous, the wedding dresses on display garnered oohs and aahs from every corner of the room. Of note, each dress had a matching mask for the bride, a must in today’s environment.
Adding the finishing touch, after dress, hair and makeup, was the jewelry. Artist Mindy Lam provided the flowing, draping, and stylish accoutrements that truly set each outfit apart.
