ALEXANDRIA, VA-Alexandria’s George Washington Birthday Parade takes place Monday, Feb.19 from 1 to 3 p.m. (The Zebra Press is a Gold Sponsor.) This year’s theme is George Washington: Alexandria’s Original Living Legend.

The grand marshals for the 2024 edition are Alexandria Living Legends. The nonprofit honors indiuiduals in the community who make a significant impact on the city by improving the quality of life for their neighbors.

The parade route has been released. See the map below, and visit washingtonbirthday.com for further details. This parade will be a special one because this year marks the 275th anniversary of Alexandria’s founding.
