ALEXANDRIA VA – Take one step into Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap at 401 E. Braddock Road at Yates Corner, and you’ll instantly be hit with the delicious aroma of smoky, hot, oven-baked pizza. With brunch, lunch, cocktail, and dinner menus consisting of numerous scrumptious options for everyone, Lena’s is a restaurant in Del Ray that you can’t miss out on trying.

In order to give their guests a more exciting and refreshing experience at Lena’s, the restaurant recently established The Loft in their upstairs space. This indoor dining area is 4,500 square feet, and allows for guests to be transported to exciting environments while dining.

Las year The Loft transformed into “The Winter Lodge,” which provided an Aspen-inspired, social distancing and safe experience to those who visited. (More about “The Winter Lodge” can be found HERE.) But winter doesn’t last forever in Alexandria- and it doesn’t at Lena’s either! As of June 28th, 2021, The Loft has revealed its’ plans to adjust it’s theme to match the season: Ocean’s 21!

Ocean’s 21 at the Loft is heavily inspired by the peaceful and scenic ocean coasts found along northeastern beaches. With stylish walls adorned in gorgeous blue ocean decals (sea creatures, of course!) and patterns, tropical photography and plants, and comfortable, yet modern beach-themed furniture, Ocean’s 21 will take you back to a sandy, breezy beach, right here in Alexandria!

Furthermore, the menu provided at the Loft also matches the refreshing summer-theme. The menu consists of classic dishes that fit the Loft’s theme, including burrata, jumbo shrimp cocktail, scallops, fregola pasta, and more!

When describing the Loft and dining experience, Jason Yates says that, “The Yates Family has really enjoyed bringing fresh and varied experiences to the neighborhood.  The past 15 months have been so difficult on everyone and we were able to create safe, unique venues that let people take a break and relax, if only for a little while.  We look forward to sharing our summer theme and welcoming you all back to The Loft at Lena’s.”

More information, including the way to make reservations for the Loft, can be found through Lena’s online website HERE.
