Alexandria Residents: Register for Winter Rec Programs Starting Dec. 15

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Looking for a fun way to stay active over the winter? Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities has options for people of all ages. Registration starts Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. for residents. Nonresidents can sign up beginning Dec. 17.

There are in-person classes as well as virtual programs. Take swim lessons, participate in camps, and much more.

Registration applies to all classes from January through April.

Health guidelines will be in place for participants and staff, including mask use and and thorough cleaning of activity areas between sessions.
