Registration for Alexandria’s Fall Rec Program Begins Aug. 3

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Want to stay active this coming fall? Today the City of Alexandria announced that registration for fall classes and activities begins Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. for residents. Non-residents can register two days later.

Classes and activities are hosted by the city’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA). Registration applies to classes, activities, and leagues ocurring from September through December.

This year RPCA is offering many options, including yoga, swimming, soccer, a baseball clinic, and flag football. Activities vary by age. For more details, review the program guide HERE.

When kids are out of school, there are even Teacher Workday and Winter Break camps.

RPCA is hiring year-round staff. If you are looking for a job, enjoy working with children, and have leadership skills, RPCA wants to hear from you. Review open positions HERE.

Registration will be available online and in-person at the Lee Center Registration & Reservation Office (1108 Jefferson St.).
