Early Registration Open for YMCA Summer Camps in Alexandria
Don't have the money to pay for camp? Scholarships offered through the Send a Kid To Camp campaign.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – YMCA summer camps offer a variety of activities and memories that last a lifetime. Early registration is now open.
By participating in camp, kids can learn a new skill such as swimming, experience the outdoors, and make new friends.
According to a YMCA press release, multiple studies have shown that kids who do not have the ability to attend camp “experience learning loss, feel lonely more often, and gain weight twice as fast [as they would] during the school year.”
