Fairfax County: Police Unity Tour Rides Through Mount Vernon

Alexandria, VA – The 2023 Police Unity Tour to raise awareness about those officers who have died in the line of duty as well as to raise money for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial passed by the Mount Vernon District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department at the Mount Vernon Governmental Center on Parkers Lane and were greeted by dozens of well-wishers as the hundreds of participants rode by on the 250-mile bicycle ride from Portsmouth, VA to the memorial in Washington, DC.

Since its inception in 1997, the tour, a “Ride for Those Who Died,” has raised more than $20 million for the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
