MVCC Charity Golf Tournament Raises Funds in Former Employee’s Memory

Alexandria, VA – Domingo Noriego, an employee at Mount Vernon Country Club, passed away in 2015 while waiting for a double lung transplant. Beloved by many at the club, where he was an employee for years, Noriega was only 63 at his death. He left two daughters, Shirley and Leslie, and five grandchildren, Brandon, Chloe, Connor, Aiden and Camden. His wife Delfina preceded him in death in 2013.

MVCC holds a yearly Golf Charity event to honor his legacy of giving to others to ensure they work hard and demonstrate good ambition and integrity. This was MVCC’s 5th year for the Charity Golf Tournament. It has raised over $50,000 in the five years. INOVA Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Program is the recipient of the donations and funds to support pulmonary fibrosis research.
