Alexandria’s Animal Welfare League Saves Injured Cat With Sarah’s Fund

Photo: AWLA

ALEXANDRIA, VA-A cat named Popeye came to the Welfare League of Alexandria in September. When he arrived, he had open wounds on his face, neck, and body. It took time for the wounds to heal, but Popeye, now called Jasper Joon, is in a loving home.

To help pay for his medication during his recuperation, AWLA relied on Sarah’s Fund. This is the resource AWLA uses to pay for emergency surgeries and other treatments.
