ARLINGTON, VA — As inflation continues to influence how Americans shop, more than 150 vendors will gather Saturday, Aug. 1, for the Arlington Civitan Open Air Flea Market, offering families, collectors and bargain hunters an opportunity to find exceptional values while supporting local charities.

The covered I-66 Parking Garage at Washington-Liberty High School will once again be transformed into one of Northern Virginia’s largest monthly flea markets. Shoppers will find antiques, vintage collectibles, artwork, jewelry, books, furniture, home décor, tools, toys, vinyl records, sports memorabilia and thousands of other unique items.

Unlike many outdoor flea markets, most vendors are located inside the covered parking garage, allowing visitors to browse comfortably in the shade while escaping the summer heat. The market operates rain or shine.

Every month brings different vendors and fresh merchandise, one of the reasons so many shoppers return throughout the season. Whether furnishing a home, decorating an office, outfitting a dorm room or apartment, shopping for back-to-school needs or searching for a one-of-a-kind collectible, visitors never know what they might discover.

Early birds often enjoy the best selection while taking advantage of the coolest temperatures of the day.

For more than 70 years, the Arlington Civitan Club has operated the market as one of its signature fundraising events. Proceeds benefit local charities and programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Arlington. Every dollar raised remains in the community, helping organizations make a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents.

Admission and parking are free. Parking is available through the 15th Street North entrance.
