Alexandria Sheriff’s Community Academy Now Taking Applications for Sept. Session

The deadline to apply is August 19

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandrians can explore the role of the Sheriff’s Office by joining the next session of the Sheriff’s Community Academy, an informative four-session experience on Saturday mornings this fall.

Participants will learn about the Sheriff’s Office by touring the jail, going behind the scenes at the courthouse, taking part in hands-on activities, and meeting with deputies responsible for the care and custody of approximately 350 inmates.
