Woodlawn’s 61st Annual Needlework Show Open for Viewing

Alexandria, VA – “Needlework in Everyday Life,” Woodlawn Plantation’s 61st Annual Needlework Show, opened March 1 for a month-long run at the plantation, 9000 Richmond Highway. The show, designed to remind us that needlework has been an integral part of creating everyday items as a form of function and beauty for thousands of years, features hundreds of pieces from artists worldwide. The show is open every day but Tuesday from 10 am to 4 pm. In addition, tours of the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright Pope-Leigh are available.
