Alexandria, VA – You can participate in DC Climate Week, inspired by a great American tradition, Earth Day, created in 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson. As of publication, DC Climate Week’s sustainable fashion events:

  • In DC:
    • April 15. National Museum for Women in the Arts (NMWA) Nights brings together creativity, community, and conscious design with a vibrant evening of sustainable fashion, hands-on artmaking, and music. Featuring a dynamic ReFashion Show, local creatives, and interactive experiences inspired by Howardena Pindell, the event invites guests to explore style that is both expressive and environmentally responsible.
    • April 21. Fashion and the Climate Crisis: Policy and Innovation for a Cleaner Industry for a panel and networking with policymakers, tech innovators and entrepreneurs and a fashion showcase with local designers. Register at https://luma.com/1ns7cqsj
