Free Scottish Bagpipe Concert on August 1

ALEXANDRIA, VA -Celebrate Alexandria’s Scottish heritage as bagpipes and drums provide the soundtrack!

The City of Alexandria Pipes and Drums will present a free concert on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 8 p.m. in Waterfront Park, 1A Prince Street in Old Town Alexandria. Combining precision marching with innovative musical arrangements, the band has been delighting audiences for over four decades.  Come down to the waterfront and enjoy the pipes, drums, and a special performance by area Scottish dancers!
