ALEANDRIA, VA – Locally-owned coffee shop Java Loco will open a new location on June 25 at Mount Vernon Plaza shopping center, located at 7694 Richmond Highway in Alexandria. This is the fourth location for Java Loco in Northern Virginia, where the coffee shop has had a presence since 2013.

“We are thrilled to open at Mount Vernon Plaza in Alexandria,” says Nga Ho, owner of Java Loco. “We look forward to welcoming new and loyal customers to enjoy and experience our delicious variety of beverages, sandwiches and baked goods”.

The 1,686-square-foot space will serve gourmet house coffee, authentic Italian espresso, espresso-based drinks, and exotic drinks like Cuban or Vietnamese coffee in a cozy atmosphere with a separate space for bubble tea.

The beverage menu also includes a selection of decaf items, fruit smoothies and bubble tea from Ocha Bubble Tea in Annandale, which is also owned by Ho. Food offerings will include breakfast and lunch sandwiches and bakery items like muffins, croissants, coffee cake, and other desserts and pastries. Another menu offering will be banh mi, a Vietnamese offering served on a baguette with various fillings.

The Mount Vernon location of Java Loco will be open from Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
