BREAKING NEWS: Visit Alexandria Extends Restaurant Week to-Go Through Sept. 7

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Visit Alexandria announced today, August 28, that Restaurant Week to-Go has been extended through Labor Day, September 7. As a result, Alexandria’s residents will be able to receive great prices for great food a little while longer. And during this challenging time,  the restaurants involved will continue to be supported by the community for eight additional days.

The program was set to end August 30.

Last month, The Zebra Press reported on the opening of Restaurant Week to-Go, In light of the pandemic, Visit Alexandria created an alternate plan to hold Alexandria Restaurant Week, a popular event that occurs twice year. They shifted the usual indoor dining model to carryout.

The restaurants mentioned in The Zebra article are all still participating.

Restaurant Week to-Go is taking place in neighborhoods throughout the city, including Old Town, Del Ray, the West End, and Carlyle.

The cost is $49 for two people. Curbside pickup is available. Select locations are offering delivery.
