Free and Virtual: Alexandria Library Hosting E-book Demonstration April 12

ALEXANDRIA, VA-With smartphones and tablets a part of everyday life, people are accessing e-books and audiobooks more frequently. Alexandria Library has seen increased interest in their collections during the pandemic.

Due to popularity, they have decided to hold a free virtual e-book demonstration on Monday, April 12 from 9 – 11 a.m. This demonstration will teach attendees how to check out e-books using the Libby app. More information and registration can be found at the OverDrive link HERE.

One year ago, the library received $50,000 to expand their e-book collection.

Using the Libby app with a library card, readers can browse the library’s complete digital collection, instantly borrow titles, and read or listen for free. The service works with all major computer brands and devices.
