Employees at Vacation.com’s Alexandria headquarters, 1650 King Street, recently donated nearly 280 pounds of food to support the Capital Area Food Bank in Lorton, VA. Vacation.com staff collected the non-perishable items at their main office on King Street, and volunteered more than 90 hours at the Capital Area Food Bank. The philanthropic initiative was part of a larger “Day of Giving” effort in which Vacation.com joined other Travel Leaders Group companies, travel agencies and travel agents throughout North America on July 9 in a concentrated effort to reduce hunger.
