Alexandria, VA – Leash up those pups and head down to Fort Hunt Park on Sunday, June 7, for another fun-filled – and dog-friendly – afternoon of supporting one of Alexandria’s incredible nonprofits. Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats will host its 3rd Annual Paws & Pours Fundraising Event, the organization’s largest event of the year, to not only raise funds to support its mission to employ and provide job training to adults with disabilities, but also to celebrate and recognize its dedicated and hard-working team of disabled adults.

Founded in 2018 by the mother-son duo Anne and Bryan Tuccillo, Pawfectly Delicious has a mission that’s rooted in dignity, purpose, and community. The nonprofit creates meaningful, paid employment opportunities and job training that allow each team member to learn and thrive, all while baking, packaging, and selling their beloved, all-natural ginger dog treats. Since its inception, the team has grown to support 12 paid employees and continues to grow.

Tickets for this year’s Paws & Pours fundraising event are on sale now and attendees will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of delicious food – dubbed by some as “the world’s largest charcuterie board” – and fantastic drinks, toe-tapping live music, a silent auction full of generous donations from local businesses, and, best of all, fun activities and sweet treats for all the pup attendees. Steve Rudin, ABC7 WJLA meteorologist and longtime supporter of Pawfectly Delicious, also returns as event ambassador.

“We are thrilled to be in our third year of hosting the annual Paws & Pours celebration,” said Anne Tuccillo, executive director of Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats. “Not only is it our biggest opportunity of the year to raise funds and awareness for our nonprofit’s mission, but it’s a wonderful celebration of this incredible community and everyone who believes in and supports our team.”

Tickets are available on The Zebra’s ticketing platform. All the proceeds go back into the organization to support employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.

At Paws & Pours, guests and pups alike enjoy meeting, mingling, mixing, and munching.

“We could not host this event without the support of our incredible sponsors who believe so strongly in our mission, the wonderful businesses who generously donate items to our silent auction, our event vendors who help make this celebration so special, and the community that comes out to show their support,” said Tuccillo.
