ALEXANDRIA, VA – Browne Academy’ 8th graders recently traveled to Capitol Hill as part of their “We the People” unit and study of the Constitution. They met with Congressman Don Beyer of Virginia’s 8th District, watched the House of Representatives vote and debate from the House Gallery, and toured the U.S. Capitol. The students are grateful to Browne alumna Antonia Hill (Class of 2008) and Congressman Steny Hoyer’s office for arranging their visit.
