Transportation Federal Credit Union Best Place to WorkAlexandria, VA — Transportation Federal Credit Union (TransFCU), which operates a branch office at its revitalized headquarters in Alexandria, has been recognized as one of the Best Credit Unions to Work For in 2025 by the Best Companies Group and American Banker magazine. The honor reflects the organization’s commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture while serving the financial needs of its members.

TransFCU ranked 32nd among credit unions nationwide in this year’s survey, which evaluates institutions in two parts. The first examines policies, benefits, and workplace practices, while the second relies on direct, comprehensive employee feedback.

Founded in 1939, the credit union has long prioritized employee well-being and inclusion as part of its mission to serve the transportation community. Today, TransFCU has grown to over 15,000 members nationwide and manages more than $340 million in assets.

“We are honored to be named among the best credit unions to work for in 2025,” said MJ Neusaenger, President and CEO of TransFCU. “Our team’s passion and commitment to excellence drives everything we do. This award is a testament to the culture we’ve built together. We’re a strong team and I look forward to what we will accomplish next.”
