ALEXANDRIA, VA – Paperwork was filed in mid-May for a new authentic 99-seat Mexican restaurant to go into the vacant spot at 3901-B Mount Vernon Avenue, near the Tiger Market by Four Mile Run Park.

Oswaldo Salinas, who also owns Lillian’s almost next door, plans to call his new eatery Taqueria Señora Lola, and plans to be open daily from 10 am until midnight, serving lunch and dinner to both carry-out and dine-in patrons.

The restaurant is applying for a beer/wine license and promises pinata parties, tacos, steaks, soups and salads, and of course, big screen tvs.
