Art on the Avenue Returns This Saturday To Mount Vernon Ave.

Festival was postponed due to Hurricane Ian

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Art on the Avenue is back! The festival will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood  Art on the Avenue was postponed due to Hurricane Ian.

“We’re grateful to our artists, volunteers, and City officials for their work to reschedule an event of
this magnitude,” said Pat Miller, Founder and Chair. “This new date is the perfect opportunity to finish all your holiday shopping early while supporting our wonderful artists and Del Ray small businesses!”

This year’s festival will feature over 350 local and regional artists, live music, international food, children’s activities, a pie baking contest, and more.

Held during fall (between Hume and Bellefonte Avenues), Art on the Avenue strives to reflect the diversity of the Del Ray community through art.
