Community Open House on Proposed Text Amendment to Create New Residential Affordability Zone

ALEXANDRIA, VA–On Monday, November 19, from 6-8 p.m. in the Sister Cities Conference Room of City Hall (Room 1101, 301 King Street), the community is invited to an informal open house to learn about a proposed Zoning Ordinance text amendment for a new residential zone to incentivize preservation of existing housing affordability.

Information about other implementation activities related to the Strategy will also be presented. Community members are encouraged to stop by anytime to comment or ask questions.

All information provided at the open house will also be posted on the City website, and all information related to the Strategy implementation will be available on the project webpage where residents can also access the adopted Strategy in complete and summary form.
