New Target Gallery Exhibition Highlights Emerging Artists

Target Gallery introduces a new annual exhibition series featuring the work of emerging artists of the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region.

This inaugural year’s exhibition features the work of four stylistically diverse artists: Katie Barrie, Richmond, VA; Ronald Jackson, Fredericksburg, VA; Hollis McCracken, Richmond, VA; and Holly Trout, Washington, D.C.

They were selected by a jury panel consisting of Ksenia Grishkova, director of Touchstone Gallery; Blair Murphy, independent curator; and Jack Rasmussen, director and curator at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.

Debby Critchley

Debby Critchley has been an integral part of The Zebra almost from the very beginning by taking on the mantle of Food Editor. She also creates the monthly Events Calendar and regularly contributes to our social media. Born in Chicago, her parents help develop her palate by exposing her to a variety of cuisines from Chinese to Spanish, French, German, and more. Debby earned her B.A. at Case Western Reserve University and her M.S. from University of Nebraska. She moved to the DMV in 1981.
