Alexandria, VA – The Old Town Shop, voted Best Gift Shop by Zebra readers for two years in a row, has a new home in the new year. From its original location at 105 S. Union St., the premier gift shop of Old Town has moved right across the street to 104 S. Union St. into the historic Fitzgerald Warehouse. In the 1790s, owners John Fitzgerald and Valentine Peppers purchased the space over the original waterfront shoreline to develop their warehouse that still stands over 200 years later.
Now occupying 600 sq. feet on the main floor of the historic warehouse, The Old Tow Shop is excited to continue to offer all your favorite products, like their ornaments, apparel, and peanuts, while still highlighting local makers and businesses. In March 2022, The Old Town Shop will be ready to open at its new space, not 20 yards away from the original.
