This pick-up event is a a promotion of the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program.

RIF, according to the organization’s website, “believes every child deserves an opportunity to own books, learn how to read, and obtain the fundamental building blocks to achieve their highest potential.”

RIF spreads awareness of the importance of child literacy, helps to create programs that encourage literacy, and engages with people and businesses in communities to make a difference locally.

Before selecting a book, children will be given a mask and gloves for their well-being. Parking may be limited.
