Code of Support to Host America 250 Concert in Alexandria

"Let Freedom Ring" Family-Friendly, Patriotic Event Honors Veterans

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Code of Support Foundation will present “Let Freedom Ring,” a family-friendly concert in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, on Saturday, May 2 at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center in Alexandria. Pre-concert entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m., with the performances beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The event highlights the service and sacrifice of U.S. military members, veterans, and their families, whose contributions make the nation’s 250 years of freedom possible.

The Code of Support Foundation works to connect service members, veterans, and their families with the resources and benefits they have earned, helping eliminate barriers to critical support systems.

Jane Collins

Jane Hess Collins is a communications consultant and coach, and holds a masters’ degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. She is the founder and executive director of Heard, an Alexandria-based nonprofit that teaches life skills disguised as art to underserved populations. She retired from the United States Air Force in 2009.
