About Me
Hi there—Colt here. 🐾 I’m a two-year-old, 43-pound bundle of charm with a sleek black coat and handsome brown accents (yes, I clean up nicely). I’ve got a big zest for life and an even bigger love for people. Seriously—if making friends were an Olympic sport, I’d have gold.

I’m the perfect mix of active and affectionate. Whether it’s long walks on the beach, weekend exploring, or a fun day at the park, I’m all in. Afterward? Cuddles. Lots of them. I’d love a human who enjoys staying active but also appreciates a good snuggle session. I’m also eager to keep learning—ongoing training with you by my side sounds like a great bonding experience.

Ideal Match
You’re someone who enjoys an active, social lifestyle and wants a loyal sidekick to share it with. You’ve got time for walks, playtime, and continued training together. Most importantly, you’re ready to give (and receive!) lots of love. Bonus points if you enjoy meeting new people—I’ll happily be your charming wingman.

Fun Fact
I never met a stranger—just friends I haven’t greeted yet. My tail works overtime when I’m making new connections.

My adoption fees are paid and I will be spayed or neutered before you take me home. To learn more about me or meet me, contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria by emailing [email protected] or call 703-746-4774, option 2.
