Del Ray Halloween Parade 2026 Draws Thousands for 30th Anniversary Celebration
Alexandria, VA – The 30th annual Del Ray Halloween Parade brought thousands of costumed children, adults, and pets to Mount Vernon Avenue on October 25, celebrating one of the region’s most beloved community traditions. Recognized by USA Today as one of the 10 best Halloween parades in the country, the event featured creative costumes, decorated strollers and wagons, local high school bands, and spirited neighborhood participation.
Beyond the festivities, the community came together to purchase more than 130 costumes for local children in need. The parade’s success reflects the dedication of its volunteer organizers, local businesses, sponsors, public safety teams, and the Del Ray community.
